    In this tech camp (individual days can also be booked), children will learn about robotics and coding through the use of various robots to grasp key programming and engineering concepts in a fun learning environment. The workshops are as follows :

    Where: International College, Malthouse Theatre, Malthouse Road, Canterbury, CT2 7JA What to bring: Nut-free packed lunch, refillable water bottle Age Requirement: 7+ No prior coding experience necessary. If your child has been to one of these workshops before, then their learning will be extended further and they will not have to repeat the same content as before. Important COVID-19 related information: We will take every precaution necessary to protect our staff, our course attendees and their families. We will strictly follow government advice at the time of running the camp. This may include, among other precautions, a temperature measurement of students at the time of morning registration. More information about our risk assessment and mitigation procedures will be provided via an email closer to the time.

In this weekly class, the students will be taught to code using Minecraft, in a block-based programming language (Microsoft MakeCode). This class runs like an after school club.     Content creation and coding for a highly interactive virtual reality 3-D world. Learn to build interactions with block-based coding or advanced scripting. Our students use computer aided design (CAD) to create their 3-D worlds. They then use visual block-based and intuitive programming language to code interactions between the various elements of their virtual reality world and the end user of their product. This class runs like an after school club. There is a class once a week every week at the same time. AR/VR coding sessions last an hour.
